NUMBER 5 - NETFLIX RAISES PRICES
Netflix prices are going up. The streaming video company says it plans to raise subscription costs for new customers by $1 or $2 in the next few months. Existing customers paying $7.99 per month will not see a change in their current rate for a "generous time period." This news comes after the company's public fight with some internet service providers over waning streaming speeds.
NUMBER 4 - LOHAN SAYS SHE SUFFERED MISCARRIAGE
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan says she recently had a miscarriage. According to People Magazine, Lohan says it happened during a break in the filming of her reality show "Lindsay" on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network. The 27-year-old revealed the personal information during the show's season finale Sunday. She explained that's what was happening during the two weeks she reportedly held up production of the series.
NUMBER 3 - PRESIDENT OBAMA LEAVES FOR ASIA TOUR
Happening today, President Obama will leave on a four-country tour of Asia, in the hopes of convincing pacific allies the U.S. remains focused on them. He'll be stopping in Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines. The trip is a rain-check from last October, when the White House nixed a visit to Asia at the last minute amid the government shutdown. There aren't any major announcements expected on this week's trip.
NUMBER 2 - BOSTON MARATHON WINNERS
The winner of the men's division of the 118th Boston Marathon was America's Meb Keflezighi. The 38-year-old ended his 26.2 mile trek with an official time of 2:08:37. He is the first American man to win the race since 1983. Rita Jeptoo, 33, from Kenya was declared the winner of the women's division. It was her second straight victory. She finished with an official time of 2:18:57.
NUMBER 1 - TEEN SURVIVES FLIGHT IN PLANE'S WHEEL WELL
Officials say a California teen is lucky to be alive after he flew from San Jose to Maui in a plane's wheel well. He was uninjured despite dealing with cold temperatures and a lack of oxygen at 38,000 feet. The FBI says the teen doesn't doesn't remember the flight. Security footage from the airport shows the boy climbed a fence and crossed a runway to get to the plane. After it landed, he was found wandering grounds with no identification.
