Siloam Springs district leaders say they are partnering with local companies, to build a manufacturing-based curriculum.
Farmington High School Assistant Principal Clayton Williams says becoming a conversion charter school allows them to have much more freedom in the classroom. "We feel like it's important to help our students be able to find a career path and be able to bend the rules, if you will, to be more flexible, to be able to offer them more opportunities," he says.
The conversion charter application deadline is September 9.
Farmington will hold a public hearing on the charter change August 25 at 6 p.m. at the high school library.
