FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- UATV students got a leg up on the first day of school Sunday morning.

They produced a live remote broadcast of sorority bid day.

This was the first time for the student run TV station to air the event live for people to see online and throughout Northwest Arkansas.

Chelsea Hawthorn said, "Getting some hands on experience, especially for those of us who are seniors who are about to graduate, going to internships and things like this, we were really excited and we were here, some of us were here at 5:30."

Students teamed up with a local production company out of rogers to make it all come to life.

Greek life directors say it was great for them because it allowed various people from across the country to watch the celebration.
