FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- A print shop at the University of Arkansas is planning to close its doors and that means jobs will be lost.

According to the university, Print-Mail-Copy Solutions has decided that effective July 1, 2016, they will no longer provide the service of offset printing.

Of the 39 positions at PMC Solutions, 16 will be eliminated. UA officials say they will work with those 16 people to see if they would be a good fit for other job openings on campus. The remaining 23 employees will be moved to other printing areas at the university.

The changes will save hundreds of thousands of dollars per year and will not affect the University of Arkansas Press.
