FAYETTEVILLE -- A University of Arkansas student was arrested Thursday, accused of selling marijuana out of his dorm room on campus. Agents with the 4th Judicial District Drug Task Force say an informant bought weed from Preston Hawkins, 20, multiple times over the past three months. The total amount of marijuana purchased totaled approximately 73 grams. While executing a search warrant on Hawkins' dorm room at Bud Walton Hall, investigators say they found $1,000 cash, numerous money order receipts, a handwritten note discussing medical marijuana and pot brownies. Hawkins faces charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Purpose to Deliver.
