BENTONVILLE, AR-- A restaurant is now reopened in the Walmart home office cafeteria, nearly a month after a shigellosis outbreak got hundreds sick.

Salsarita's opened on Wednesday for the first time since a health department investigation started on June 18.

That's when a portion of the cafeteria was shut down after several people became ill from exposure to the bacteria, shigella.

Eurest, the third-party company in charge of managing the kitchen, will now hire a quality assurance manager and will retrain staff on the company's safety protocols.

The Benton County Health Department says 275 people became ill from the bacteria.
