FAYETTEVILLE -- March Madness is headed to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter on Saturday, March 29!

The shelter is hosting an adoption extravaganza from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a "Sweet Sixteen" bracket made up of dogs and cats who will be free to adopt. All other pets will be only $10. Every pet will come spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. All pets will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

"We have such a good selection of pets right now. There are all sizes and ages, really something for everyone," Shelter Superintendent, Justine Lentz says.

The shelter will also be offering free dog treats and door prizes throughout the day.

If you want to take home a new furry friend, you have to fill out an adoption application and be approved through the adoption process. You can fill out the adoption application ahead of time to be pre-approved. CLICK HERE for the form.
