It's a girl! "American Idol" alum Kelly Clarkson announced the arrival of her daughter on Twitter Saturday. The baby's name is River Rose Blackstock. The announcement read "Our baby girl...arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!" This is the singer's first child with husband Brandon Blackstock.

Asian carp are out of control in the Illinois river. They're leaping out of the water by the dozens and on to passing boats. It's a danger to fisherman, but it's also good business. One fisherman says on a good day he can catch 20 fish, but this week, he caught 180 in just one outing. The Asian carp were brought to America in the 1970's to clean up fresh water. Some of them grow to weigh more than 100 pounds.

General Motors is announcing a recall involving another ignition switch problem. This time, the recall is for 512,000 Camaros with model years of 2010 to 2014. G.M. says the design of the cars' ignition key and the attached fob makes it susceptible to being bumped out of the "run" position. According to the automaker, the problem is different than the ignition switch problem involving the recall of 2.6 million other cars.

Iconic radio host Casey Kasem has died. Kasem, who entertained radio listeners for almost four decades as the host of countdown shows such as "American Top 40" and "Casey's Top 40," passed away early this morning. His daughter, Kerri, announced the news via her Facebook page. Kerri says the family is heartbroken, but knows their father is no longer suffering. He had been hospitalized in Washington State for two weeks. Kasem was 82 years old.

Happy Father's Day! President Barack Obama spoke of the importance of dear old dad in his weekly address to the nation. "There's nothing more precious in life than the time we spend with our children. There's no better feeling than knowing that we can be there for them, and provide for them, and help give them every shot at success. Let's make sure every dad who works hard and takes responsibility has the chance to know that feeling, not just on one Sunday, but every day of the year," he said. In a few weeks, the White House will hold the first-ever White House Working Families Summit, bringing in working parents from across the country to discuss the challenges they face.
