Top Trenders: 68th Annual Tony Awards: Broadway's Biggest Night

Sunday was Broadway's biggest night at Radio City Music hall. Hugh Jackman was back to host the 68th annual Tony Awards. Highlights included a performance from the new Disney adaptation of "Aladdin." Neil Patrick Harris took the stage for a show-stopping scene and walked away with a Tony for his role as Hedwig in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," and "Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston won for Best Actor in a Play for his role as Lyndon B. Johnson in "All the Way."

Miss Nevada is now Miss U.S.A.. Nia Sanchez beat out contestants from all 50 states and the District of Colombia for the title of 63rd Miss U.S.A. Sanchez, a fourth degree black belt in taekwondo, spoke about the importance of women being able to defend themselves. She will go on to represent the U.S. at the Miss Universe competition later this year.

Some of the money from the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers is going to charity. A source tells C.N.N. up to 10 percent of the sale, which would amount to roughly $200 million, will be spun off into a charitable foundation. The Sterlings agreed last week to sell to Microsoft C.E.O. Steve Ballmer. Shelly sterling and Ballmer would be co-chairs of the foundation, which would target underprivileged families, battered women, minorities and inner city youth.

Comedian Tracy Morgan is showing signs of improvement but is still in critical condition. His limo bus was rear-ended by a semi-truck early Saturday on the New Jersey turnpike. Fellow comedian James "Jimmy Mack" Ncnair, also on the limo bus with Morgan, was killed in the crash. Morgan suffered several injuries including broken ribs, a broken nose, and a broken leg. The driver of the truck has been charged with death by auto.

Five people, including two police officers, are dead after two suspects open fire at a shopping center in Las Vegas Sunday. The officers, who have been identified as 42-year-old Alyn Beck and 32-year-old Igor Soldo, were ambushed while eating inside a Cici's Pizza. After shooting the officers, the two suspects are accused of walking to a nearby Walmart where they fatally shot a bystander, before taking their own lives.
