Burger King's corporate headquarters might be leaving the U.S.for Canada. Burger King is in merger talks with Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons. The combined company would be the world's third-largest fast food chain. While both brands would continue to operate independently, the merger would allow Burger King to potentially cut its tax bill. At least 47 companies have done it over the last decade. Burger King is currently headquartered in Miami.

Apple said "a very small percentage" of iPhone 5 smartphones may suddenly experience shorter battery life or need to be charged more frequently. Only phones sold between September 2012 and January 2013 are eligible. Apple has opened a website that allows people to determine whether their phones are eligible.
"Breaking Bad" won big at the 66th annual Primetime Emmy awards Monday. The a-m-c series won six Emmys, including outstanding drama series. Other winners include "Modern Family" for outstanding comedy series, Julianna Margulies for outstanding lead actress in a drama for "The Good Wife," Jim Parsons for outstanding lead actor in a comedy for "The Big Bang Theory." and Julia Louis-Dreyfus for lead actress in a comedy for her role in "Veep."
Power is slowly being restored in Napa County, California where an earthquake hit early Sunday. About 160 people were injured. According to the U.S. Geological survey, the 6.0 magnitude quake struck just six miles southwest of California's wine country. California's governor has declared a state of emergency. Napa public works says it could take up to a week to get the water system back to normal, but running water is safe to drink.
Family, friends and thousands of mourners gathered in Ferguson Missouri to say their final goodbyes to Michael Brown on Monday while new information surfaced in the 18-year-old's shooting death. An unidentified man who lives near the scene of the shooting says he inadvertently recorded audio of gunshots at the time Michael Brown was killed. A quick series of shots can be heard in the recording followed by a pause and another quick series of shots.
