A Texas dad used his go pro camera to record the curbside birth of his son, and the video is going viral.When his wife went into labor, Troy Dickerson strapped his camera to his head. He and his wife, Kristen, were headed to the hospital, but they only made it as far as the curb. While this may seem like one crazy way to come into the world, Mom and baby Truett are doing just fine. He weighed 9 pounds, 13 ounces.
#4: Garth Brooks' World Tour Not Going Well
The country singer had planned to kick off his tour in Dublin, Ireland. Brooks had planned five concerts in the Emerland Isle, but cancelled the show entirely after the city council cancelled two of the shows due to disruption to residents living around the stadium. 400,000 tickets had been sold, that's just under a tenth of Ireland's population.
#3: Georgia Hot Car Death Update
No drugs or chemicals were found in the Georgia toddler who died in a hot car last month.
Police said the toxicology results for 22-month-old cooper Harris came back negative.
Cooper's dad, Justin Ross Harris, is charged with murder in his son's death. Harris, who worked at the Home Depot's Corporate offices in Atlanta, was let go yesterday. Harris says he accidentally left cooper in his SUV for seven hours, forgetting to drop his son off at daycare before work.
#2: Six Dead In Spring, TX. Shooting
In Spring, Texas, four children and two adults died Tuesday when police say a man posing as a Fedex driver demanded to see his estranged wife and then shot the family. The victims range in age from four to 39. A 15-year-old girl was shot in the head, but she survived, and called 911. The shooter is identified as 34-year-old Ron Lee Haskell. Haskell was taken into custody after a three-hour standoff. He's being held on capital murder charges.
#1: Obama Calls Out Congressional Republicans
President Obama lashed out at Congressional Republicans on Thursday, calling them hypocritical for blaming him for the border crisis, but refusing to vote on an immigration reform bill that has already passed the Senate.
The president also mocked Republicans over threats to sue him over Executive Actions, challenging them to quote, "Do Something" legislatively.
