Kansas Man Arrested After Transporting 260 Pounds of Pot in Sequoyah Co.

SEQUOYAH COUNTY - A Kansas man was arrested in Sequoyah County after driving a rented RV with over $1 million of marijuana inside. 

According to Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane, Keith Douglas was headed east on I-40 on Thursday when he was stopped by a deputy between Vian and Sallisaw. A deputy K9 Joi found marijuana inside a rental RV. In total, deputies seized 260 pounds of "high-grade" marijuana. The estimated value of the seize is $1.2 million.

Chief Lane said the RV may have been headed into Van Buren.
