ARKANSAS -- As part of Public Health Week, the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) is challenging folks to take a pledge and start a healthy habit.

The pledge, available through their website all this week, asks participants to make small steps like eat fruits and vegetables at every meal, get more exercise and physical activity or swap soda for water. Signees then initial the commitment and submit it to the department.

As of Tuesday morning, the ADH said several dozen Arkansans had already made the pledge.
