ASP: Driver in Deadly I-540 Crash to Face Charges

ROGERS, AR -- The driver in a deadly accident on I-540 Sunday will face charges.

Arkansas State Police say one person died in the wreck, which happened around 2:00 p.m. just south of Exit 82 near the Bellview Road overpass in Rogers.

Officers tell us Daniel Naisher, 24 of Springdale, was driving the car. According to ASP, he was negotiating a curve when he lost control on the ice and snow covered highway. Only one vehicle was involved in the crash.

The Rogers Fire Department says Naisher and a front-seat passenger were taken to the hospital. A third man, 35-year-old Bruce Kanki of Springdale, was ejected from the car's back seat and died at the scene.

According to ASP, Naisher now faces charges of Careless & Prohibited Driving and No Insurance.
