BELLA VISTA, AR -- More than 150 people gathered at American Legion Post 341 in Bella Vista Saturday to dedicate a new garden in honor of prisoners of war and those missing in action.

The garden has been in the planning stages for several years. Legion members teamed up with Benton County jail inmates to work on the project.

"This is just such a collective effort. We have so many members that have put in hard work, a lot of their time to do this," said John Chelstrom, American Legion post commander.

This is just one of many projects the American Legion does to honor soldiers and their families.
