Financial Feud Fix between City of Rogers & Former Treasurer?

ROGERS, AR-- The ongoing feud between the city of Rogers and its former treasurer appears to have come to an end.

Jerry Hudlow was fired just over two years ago by the city.

Now, Hudlow says he has dropped his contempt motion against the city of Rogers, saying in a federal court filing the sides have resolved their differences.

Earlier this year, a wrongful termination suit determined the mayor didn't have the power to remove Hudlow without a vote from the council.

A judge ordered the city to give him his job back along with $300,000 in damages.

In May, the city council appropriated an additional $62,000 from the city's general fund to pay Hudlow back.

On Tuesday afternoon, Hudlow told us he received a check from the settlement agreement.
