Jerry Hudlow was fired just over two years ago by the city.
Now, Hudlow says he has dropped his contempt motion against the city of Rogers, saying in a federal court filing the sides have resolved their differences.
Earlier this year, a wrongful termination suit determined the mayor didn't have the power to remove Hudlow without a vote from the council.
A judge ordered the city to give him his job back along with $300,000 in damages.
In May, the city council appropriated an additional $62,000 from the city's general fund to pay Hudlow back.
On Tuesday afternoon, Hudlow told us he received a check from the settlement agreement.
