SPRINGDALE, AR-- Springdale-based George's INC. is recalling about 29,200 pounds of chicken. The reason, the U.S. Department of Agriculture says the labels aren't correct. According to the USDA, the chicken is made with soy protein and other chemicals known to cause allergies. However, the products labeled as 'George's Boneless Skinless Breast Pieces with Rib Meat' don't state that the meat contains soy or MSG. The products in question were packaged from December 21st through December 23rd. In January of this year, a similar recall involved more than a million pounds of frozen fried chicken tenders the USDA said were mis-branded.
