Saturday morning a special memorial was held for one Northwest Arkansas man.

The Mike Devault Memorial Golf Tournament took place at the Shadow Valley Country Club.

It's a way to raise money for Mike Devault's kids after he passed away in 2013.

It's the second year for the tournament and friends of Mike say they want people to remember his life.

"One of the things we always remembered about Mike is his smile. It was just an infectious smile when you were around him. You couldn't help but feel loved. You know better about yourself, and better about what was going on," Jim Breach, VP Customer Development Unilever said.

The golf scramble finished up with an auction.

Proceeds will go to the Ethan and Grant Scholarship Foundation and provides support for Devault's kids to go to college.

So far they've raised 26,000 dollars.
