SPRINGDALE, AR-- A mobile career career fair brought more than 600 second-graders together in Springdale this week.

We were there for the big event at Turnbow Elementary.

Every year, five of the area's East Side schools play host to local employers and companies including fire, police, Ozarks Electric, 'Party Time Ponies,' 'Fleet Feet,' and others. School counselors tell us it's never too early to start planning a career.

"We feel it's so important our kids see the different careers that they have to choose from," says counselor Maryanne Mabry. "So many of them have no idea what options are out there."

Companies bring their work trucks and cars to give future employees an inside look at a day in the life of the work force.
