NWA Fashion Week: Behind the Scenes

BENTONVILLE, AR-- Northwest Arkansas Fashion Week is in full force. And Thursday night, local and regional designers took the stage in the first runway show of the season. We were there as things kicked off at the 21-c Museum Hotel in Bentonville. But the week isn't all about fashion-- it's also about giving back to the community.
"Fashion Week in general is about raising support for local non profits and it's doing it through fashion," says Fashion Week Co-Chair Jordan Sherrod. "And we've been able to build a lot of awareness and support for these non profits. Because it's tied around charity, I think it's why a lot of people wanna be here. But they also wanna support locals. Local designers, local businesses, and that's what Fashion Week is all about. When you buy a ticket to the shows, you can actually choose which nonprofit you want your money to help. Tickets for Saturday's shows are already sold out but you can still get some for Friday night's show. For more information, click here.
