BENTONVILLVE -- It's Pantene Beautiful Lengths Week" and more local students are chopping off their locks as part of the campaign.

This morning, two students from Central Park Elementary in Bentonville donated their hair to make wigs for cancer patients.

"Once kids attend an event like this and they see those girls up on stage donating their hair, it starts to motivate them to want to do something," School board president and breast cancer survivor Wendi Cheathman hopes even more students will donate their hair for the Pantene Beautiful Lengths event - which is part of the LPGA week.

The giant hair-cutting event takes place June 25th at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers.
