HUNTSVILLE, AR- Huntsville Police are looking for leads in a possible child abduction officers believe was stopped by the would-be victim's mother.

Captain Josh Herring with Huntsville Police tells us a sergeant responded to the incident Saturday night when the mother of a four-year-old boy called 911.

According to Captain Herring, the two men approached the boy in a dark blue minivan on Sycamore Street. They offered him an ice cream sandwich if he got in the van. But when the boy shouted 'no,' his mom came running and the men sped off.

Police said they got a report of the same van driving slow by homes on another street a week prior. Now, they're looking for leads. If you have any information, call Huntsville Police.
