FAYETTEVILLE -- The Fayetteville Roots Festival kicks off Thursday morning.

For four days, Downtown Fayetteville businesses will come together to promote the town's culture.
The event centers around its music, as concerts are hosted at multiple stages across town.
Some of the stages include George's Majestic Lounge, Kingfish, Fayetteville Farmer's Market and the Fayetteville Public Library.

Organizers say the three ingredients at its core are music, food and community.
All of the products and vendors you'll see at the festival are locally grown and operated.
There will also be local artisans, live art performances, local non-profit organizations and community action groups.

The festival will continue through Sunday.
