'Shots Fired' Call, Brief Search, Leads to Man's Arrest

FAYETTEVILLE, AR--What started with a shots fired call led to one man's arrest Thursday evening in Fayetteville.

Police say they arrested Jeshun Williams for shooting at another man in a north Fayetteville neighborhood.

Officers responded to the call just before 4 p.m. at Adobe Street near Valencia Avenue. A caller told police a black man pulled up in a white Crown Victoria passenger car, fired several shots into the air and sped off, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

After a brief search, officers took the man they believe is the shooter into custody. Noone was hurt.

Responding officers took a man into custody they suspect of being the shooter.

There were no injuries in the shooting.
