SPRINGDALE, AR--The Springdale Police Department is doing its part to fight hunger in Northwest Arkansas.The department held a "Warrant Amnesty Week and Food Drive" in February, and we're just now learning the results. During Amnesty Week, anyone could turn themselves in on non-violent warrants and have their bond waved by donating food. Almost 250 pounds of food was collected and given to Har-ber High School to help provide for less-fortunate students in the district.
