SPRINGDALE, AR -- One tenth grade student will face charges following an incident that put Har-Ber High School on lockdown.

Police say the girl, 15, faces one charge of disorderly conduct after the school was placed on security alert for about an hour Thursday afternoon.  The charges stem from threatening remarks she made, according to investigators.  She had been detained Thursday for questioning by police when schools administrators got multiple reports that someone had a gun on campus.

The teen was released to guardians later that evening.

School administrators say Har-Ber classes proceeded as normal today and the girl was not in class Friday. Har-Ber staff was available to students who had questions about the security procedure.
