United Way of NWA Mourns Loss of Team Member

LOWELL -- A leadership member of the United Way of Northwest Arkansas died Thursday at Willow Creek Women's Clinic.

Julie Petree served as the non-profit's marketing & communications manager.  Petree was 30 years old.  According to a City Wire obituary, she leaves behind husband Tony Petree and two daughters; Wren Petree and her newborn daughter Emery Petree.

A celebration of her life will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church located in Historic Downtown Rogers with Rev. David Bentley and Rev. Sandra Wanasek officiating.

United Way offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday and will re-open on Wednesday July 10th.
