Fayetteville, AR - A local community farm is getting a helping hand thanks to dozens of volunteers.
Lowe's volunteer day happened at Cobblestone Project's farm in Fayetteville on Tuesday.
Volunteers from Lowe's helped to build a farm and picnic tables, along with planting fruit trees.
The Cobblestone Project supports homeless and those under-served through hunger relief.
The nonprofit says without the help of volunteers, they wouldn't be able to accomplish all they do.
Each year Cobblestone Project donates thousands of pounds of food to 18 community agencies across Northwest Arkansas.
Also, each season they have about 1,500 volunteers to help to maintain the farm.
