In this 30 minute program, we will look at some of the latest technology breakthroughs, talk with survivors, revisit some old friends and introduce you to some new faces who have all teamed up in the fight against this disease.
We'll start by looking at how the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation began on simple a promise - made between two sisters.
Then, some good news in the fight against breast cancer as a Rogers woman says for her, a simple saliva test helped save her life.
And one of the things we've learned over the years is no matter how old or young, you can join in the fight against breast cancer. We'll meet a special young lady from Rogers who decided
for her sweet 16, she wanted to give a gift to others by making a difference.
Next, Kids for the Cure has long been an outstanding way for youngsters to get involved with the race. We'll walk to a nine-year-old Bentonville student who believes, in the fight against breast cancer, we can all be super heroes and she's already setting that example.
Then, we'll look at another vital program that gets funding thanks to Komen: the Breast Health Navigator. We'll take a closer look at what that is.
Finally, Arkansas Football Head Coach Brett Bielema is an avid supporter of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. We'll tell you about his special connection to the cause.
