WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR.-- - Project leaders from the University of Arkansas Facilities Management team will hold a public meeting addressing the SEFOR nuclear power plant cleanup.
SEFOR is a decommissioned nuclear plant in south Washington County. The U of A receive a $10.5 million grant to finish the cleanup.
The meeting will be on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Strickler Fire Department.
U of A project leaders and the contractor, EnergySolutions, will make a presentation and answer questions from the public.
