Springdale Ran Prostitution & Narcotics Out of Home, Police Say

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA) -- A Springdale man is accused of promoting prostitution and selling drugs from his home.

Justin Kadeem Kruel, 28, was arrested Saturday at his residence in the 1001 block of Christian Avenue on suspicion of second-degree promoting prostitution, possession of controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a communication device, according to a police report.

"Detectives were informed Justin Kruel was running prostitutes from the residence and that he was in possession of drugs and possibly a firearm," the police report states.

Two females were at the residence when police arrived.

"When Kruel was asked what the females were doing there, Kruel said, 'You already know,'" the police report states. "When asked for clarification, Kruel acknowledged they were prostitutes."

Police searched the residence and found marijuana, a baggie containing cocaine residue, plastic baggies used to pack drugs for sale and various pieces of drug paraphernalia, according to the police report.

Officers looked through text messages on Kruel's cell phone and found messages in which he facilitated drug transactions with multiple people, the news release states.
