Starting the New Year with a Bang!

Regulations for fireworks across Northwest Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) - If you're wanting to set off your own fireworks, there are a few things you'll need to consider before that idea can take spark.

When it comes to New Year's Eve, cities look to their laws that are already in place. Across the board here in Northwest Arkansas, cities only allow personal fireworks for the fourth of July, not during December. That means you can't light up the sky for the New Year. But there will still be some fireworks going off as we head into 2018.

At Last Night Fayetteville which is taking place on the Fayetteville Square on Sunday Night, New Year's Eve will wrap up with a fireworks display following the Hog Drop.
