Suspect Arrested for Arson in Jenny Lind, Another At Large

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- One suspect was arrested for arson late last week in Jenny Lind, while another suspect remains at large.

Jesse Stinson, 23, of Fort Smith, was arrested for arson Friday, June 16 after an interview with the Sebastian County Sheriff's Office.   A warrant was also issued for Kevin Pinkerton, 23 of Arkoma, Oklahoma, but his whereabouts remain unknown.

The fire was reported Wednesday, May 31 at a duplex in Jenny Lind.

Witnesses said they saw two males at the duplex, who began running away as soon as the fire started. Investigators determined Stinson and Pinkerton were responsible for the fire, which resulted in a loss of property valued at over $80,000.

The warrant for Pinkerton is still outstanding. He is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Pinkerton's whereabouts may call the Fort Smith Sheriff's Office at 479-783-1051.
