LPGA Tourney Donates Truck to NWA Children's Shelter

Monday, Walmart and LPGA tournament sponsors donated a truck to help the neglected and abused children living at the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter.

ROGERS, AR-- Monday, Walmart and LPGA tournament sponsors gave a significant gift to help the neglected and abused children living at the home.

LPGA Golfer Liselotte Neumann presented the shelter with a Chevy box truck, as well as several pallets of much-needed donations. The key to the truck was presented to the shelter at the Walmart Kid's Center presented by Dove, found between the course's 17th and 18th hole.

The Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter offers 24 hour care to children who are victims to violence, neglect, and abuse. In 2013, the safe home took in 562 kids.
