Downtown Bentonville, Inc. hosts the American Art & Music Festival during the July First Friday. Come celebrate the American Spirit in Downtown Bentonville! The Downtown Bentonville Square will be filled with visual art, and the music of classic Americana and Blues. Performances on the Walton Arts Center Main Stage include The Downtown Livewires, Brick Fields and the Chosen Ones and The Cate Brothers. The Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest begins at 5:45pm. Contest participants will be the first ten people to sign up on July 4th by 5:30pm at the Downtown Bentonville, Inc. information tent located directly across from the Benton County Courthouse on the Downtown Bentonville Square.

Bentonville Parks and Recreation is excited to invite the public to attend the 5th Annual Evening at Orchards Park-Bentonville's 4th of July Fireworks Celebration. Join the City of Bentonville, as they celebrate our Nation's Independence at Orchards Park. Music will begin at 7:00 P.M as Breaking Silence taking the stage. Following their performance, the Arkansas Winds Orchestra will play a Tribute to America, a series of patriotic songs, beginning at 8:00 P.M. At approximately 9:30P.M., the largest fireworks show in Northwest Arkansas will take place for all to see. Concessions will be available. First Baptist Church of Centerton celebrates with Fourth Fest. This is a community event sponsored by the church and the festivities start at 7pm. There will be food and homemade ice cream and inflatable toys for the children to play in.
Then when it gets dark the Centerton Volunteer Fire Department will set off the fireworks. Admission is free.
