BRISTOL, Conn. – On Tuesday, University of Arkansas football head coach Bret Bielema spent the day on the campus of ESPN to partake in the network’s Southeastern Conference’s ‘Car Wash’ event.

Bielema joined fellow SEC coaches, Nick Saban of Alabama, Kevin Sumlin of Texas A&M, Butch Jones of Tennessee, Dan Mullen of Mississippi State, Steve Spurrier of South Carolina and Will Muschamp of Florida for a day-long media onslaught on the ESPN family of networks that featured several interviews and appearances on different media outlets.

The Razorbacks’ head coach started his day at 9 a.m. in the SEC Film Room to break down film with ESPN personality Kaylee Hartung, then moved on to the ESPN College Gameday studio for a taping of the program. After a 40-miunute round table, Bielema appeared on the SVP & Russillo Show to participate in the first of his seven consecutive interviews on the ESPN family networks.

He would continue on his ‘Car Wash’ tour with a series of filmed interviews for College Football Live and SportsCenter, before finally concluding his day at the SEC Network Talkback.

The University of Arkansas football team will open its season on Aug. 30 with a SEC contest at last year’s national runner-up Auburn University. Kick-off for the season-opener is set for 3 p.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium and will be televised live on the SEC Network.
