Dusty Hannahs Transferring to Arkansas From Texas Tech

The Arkansas Basketball team is adding to it's roster.

Dusty Hannahs, shooting guard, asked for and has been granted his release from Texas Tech in order to transfer to Arkansas.

The former Pulaski Academy standout played two seasons for the Red Raiders averaging over 20 minutes and 7 points a game.

Known for his long range shooting accuracy, Hannahs will have to sit out a year, he will be able to play in 2016, but has two years of eligibility remaining.

The Little Rock native familiar with the Arkansas program, and players on the team. He played with Bobby Portis and Moses Kingsley on their AAU team.

Portis tweeted about Hannahs' transfer Wednesday night:

"Congrats to my childhood friend and teammate on making his decision to become a Razorback. Let's go Woody haha

Hannahs tweeted this around 8pm on Wednesday:

"After much thought throughout this process, I have decided to transfer to the University of Arkansas and become a Razorback!
