A West Fork man is behind bars after police say he shot his grandmother's dog and cat.
According to investigators, 18-year-old Javaughntaiye Willis became angry after he crashed his grandmother's truck into a tree.
Police say he said he "needed to kill something," grabbed a shotgun and shot his grandmother's dog Baby.
Witnesses told officers the dog was still alive and Willis carried the dog by the tail into the woods.
Investigators say Willis then shot his grandmother's cat and proceeded to stab it to death with a butcher knife.
He faces multiple felony charges including aggravated animal cruelty.
