"Most ticks can carry some type of disease". Dr. Buddy Newton is an infectious disease specialist at Washington Regional Medical Center and he says that  even though most ticks can carry a disease that doesn't mean they do.

So here are some symptoms to look out for if you have been bitten by a tick.
1. Fever
2. Rash
3. Headache
4. Muscle Pain
5. Nausea and Vomiting

If you have these symptoms after getting bit by a tick you should see your doctor. The illness can be treated with a simple antibiotic.
