Fayetteville, AR - As part of National Heart Awareness Month, Washington Regional will present free Hands-Only CPR Instruction, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (drop in) on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the medical center main lobby, 3215 N. North Hills Blvd. Hands-Only CPR, a simple two-step process, has been shown to be as effective as conventional CPR for cardiac arrest at home, at work or in public. It can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival.
Representatives of Washington Regional Chest Pain Center, Central EMS and American Heart Association will be on hand, along with the AHA costumed mascot, Hearty. Giveaways and light refreshments will be provided. More information is available by calling 479-463-3130.
