She got her first job in news at WLFI News 18 in Lafayette, Indiana. She worked there as the Weekend Anchor/Producer and Multimedia Journalist for three years. She regularly covered Indiana’s legislative sessions, local murder and court trials, and the impact of COVID-19 on north-central Indiana. She received a nomination for a 2020 Indiana Broadcaster’s Association Spectrum News award for a story she did on the pandemic.

During her time in Northwest Arkansas, she has mainly focused on covering the Benton and Washington County communities. She has reported stories on the pandemic impact, population growth impact, local elections, jail expansion debates and the high-profile trial for Joshua Duggar.
