Peyton is glad to join the Weather Authority Team as the newest Meteorologist.
Peyton grew up in Houston, Texas, but all of his family is from Arkansas. They live in Hot
Springs, Little Rock, and Camden, so he has a soft spot for the Hogs. Peyton went to the U
of A for a year to study Industrial Engineering, and completed his degree at Texas A&M in May of 2023.

Peyton’s love for meteorology stems from his love for the outdoors and his desire to help the
community. One significant weather event that sticks with him is Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
Many houses around him were flooded, and was eager to get out there and help those in need.
He enjoys storm chasing to see the physics and dynamics all working together, and how he can improve forecasting for them.

Upon graduating, Peyton knew he wanted to head back to the Hill for the challenge of
forecasting Northwest Arkansas’ unpredictable weather. While he’s not at the station, you can find him playing golf, watching the Astros, or spending time with his kitten ‘Nado (short for a tornado).
