KNWA/FOX24 is excited to welcome Samantha Boyd to the KNWA/FOX24 team. Samantha joined the station in July 2020. Coming to Northwest Arkansas from Sherwood, Arkansas, she’s excited to now be apart of the Northwest community!

Samantha graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in May 2020 where she received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications and Christian studies. While at Ouachita, Samantha wrote for the yearbook and volunteered as a Multimedia Journalist for the student-led sportscast, Roar Rundown.

Outside of college, Samantha interned for Senator Tom Cotton in Washington, D.C., and KATV-Channel 7 in Little Rock while she pursued her reporting career.

Samantha has dreamed of being a reporter for as long as she can remember, because as ABC News’ Amy Robach says, “Journalism is a calling.”

When Samantha is not reporting, she is probably spending time with her dogs, family, and friends or shopping. She also loves cheering on the Hogs!
