Filmmakers share stories during BFF press junket

Bentonville Film Fest

The filmmakers press junket was held at the Bentonville Film Festival Wednesday, unaffected by rain.

Media had a chance to interview individual filmmakers or filmmaking teams for about 10 minutes to discuss screenings more in detail.

Eleven filmmakers, including  BFF panelists, honorees and celebrity guests were on hand.

Rebecca Stern, director of “Well Groomed,” shared what the festival and Arkansas means to her film.

“I mean I’m just so excited to show my film to diverse audiences across the country, and we filmed in Arkansas,” Stern said. “I was excited to kind of come back and bring it close, as close as possible to one of the women in the films home.”

Media will get another chance to talk to filmmakers again Wednesday night at the blue carpet event.
