Gage Williams from the Lib Horn Fayetteville Animal Shelter tells us about Cleo & Oliver:
“This is Cleo. She is one of our longer residents. She gets pretty excited. She is very high energy but very, very sweet. She gets along well with other dogs, she can be a little much to handle, just because she is so excited. She is just so sweet. She really is a big puppy. She does well with dogs, she is great with kids. She is kind of clumsy, likes to run and jump on people. She needs a little help with her manners but at heart she is really, really sweet. Right now she is excited so she is acting silly, but once she calms down she is much, much better. Very intelligent, would be easy to train I think. She is very treat motivated. That’s a great way to train the. Oliver is good with cats, good with kids of all ages, which is good with cats, they aren’t always tolerant of loud children. I think he would do well with dogs as long as it was tolerant of cats and didn’t want to chase them of course, but he would need time to adjust, but he could do it. He is very, very friendly, likes everybody he meets. The lady who is taking care of him says he is 50% cuddly and 50% playful. Flip a coin and you may get one or the other.”
