Pets of the Week: Kittens, Buddy and Gus-Gus #BetterWithPets

Pet of the Week
WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR — It is kitten season according to the Washington County Animal Shelter, and the shelter is overloaded with kittens of all kinds — calico, orange, yellow, you name it.

Since they have so many kittens, for the entire month of June, you can get a free kitten if you bring in a 6.3-pound bag or larger of Purina Kitten Chow.

But, if you aren’t looking for a younger kitten and want a handsome, older gentleman, Gus-Gus is the feline for you. He’s about seven years old. He is front declawed.
He was surrendered to the shelter after being with someone his entire life. Gus-Gus doesn’t get along with dogs or other cats. He would probably be best in a home with an older couple looking for a companion cat.

Buddy is another senior pet. He is ten years old, and he was also surrendered to the shelter. Buddy just needs a good, loving home to live out the rest of his life. He is super sweet, however, he doesn’t like to be picked up. He also doesn’t like when people touch his bones, but as long as you don’t pick him up or touch his bones, Buddy will be perfectly happy.

If you are interested in adopting Buddy, Gus-Gus, or any of the kittens, come on down to the Washington County Animal Shelter or call 479-695-3450.
