There’s an anxious pup ready for his fur-ever home at the Washington County Animal Shelter.
Andre, is a three-year-old Great Dane mix. He’s been at the shelter for a month and a half. He does well with other dogs and is pretty mild-mannered even when they’re up in his face trying to play. He might tell them to back off, but other than that he does fine with them.
Andre is pretty docile, he does love giving hugs, it’s one of his favorite things to do. In the morning times, the staff shows up, he sees them and the first thing he does is put his paws up on their chest and give hugs.
He’d be a great companion dog for an individual or a family.
The person who found him was kind enough to take him to the vet to get scanned for a chip. He doesn’t have one, but he did get his rabies shot, his other shot, his distemper/parvo shot.
Andre is already fixed and everything, so he’s ready to go home.
