Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 – October 15.  The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce has events planned to help Northwest Arkansas celebrate the Hispanic culture.

Steve Clark and Chris Decker from the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce join Good Day NWA with details on the festivities.

On Thursday, September 20, the chamber will host the NWA Hispanic Heritage Festival VIP and Sponsor Dinner. KNWA’s Jennifer Penate is the emcee of the dinner and Judge Sergio DeLeon will serve as the guest speaker.

6th Annual NWA Hispanic Heritage Festival on Sunday, September 23 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm on the Fayetteville Square.  The event will begin with a parade of nations at 1:30, along with live music, dance, food, vendor booths and kids area.
 
There will also be a Soccer tournament with 12 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams at Kessler Mountain Regional Park on Saturday and Sunday, September 22 & 23. Saturday 3:30 pm – 9:00 pm and Sunday 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
