Fayetteville city plan 2040 approved


FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) — Fayetteville moves forward with a plan to revitalize the city and add attainable housing.

According to the city’s Twitter feed, the City Council adopted the city plan 2040 as the Comprehensive Land Use Plan.

The vote was unanimous.

One of the reasons for the new plan is because of the population growth over the past decade.
