Jersey Bridgeman’s Family, Friends Gather at Graveside Memorial

BENTONVILLE, AR– Jersey Bridgeman’s family is getting closure, after her killer, Zachary Holly was sentenced to death on Wednesday. A memorial was held that afternoon to help the family move on.

Dozens of friends, family and community members gathered at a graveside service at the Bentonville Cemetery on Wednesday, two and a half years since Jersey’s death. Many wore purple, the 6 year-old’s favorite color. While the Bridgeman family asked for space at the service, Natalie Tibbs with the Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County said justice was served for Jersey.

“It affects not just the family or agencies who work these cases, it affects the community and this truly did rock Benton County,” said Tibbs.

16 white doves were released at the ceremony, to represent Jersey’s spirit being set free.
